A group photograph of employees (administrative staff) of the 3rd section of Camp Section No.4 of the SevKuzBassLag taken in July, 1948. The Camp Section was located in Anzhero-Sudzhensk. The photograph is kept in the Anzhero-Sudzhensk Municipal Local History Museum.

Description of exhibitA black-and-white picture of a group of 14 people with a background of the wall of a building constructed out of logs. The people are standing and seated in three rows. In the top row there are five people, standing: 4 men in military uniform and one woman (fourth on the left) in a dark dress. In the middle row there are 5 persons: a woman (standing, extreme left) in a dark dress, 4 men (seated) in military uniform. The second and third men on the left are wearing medals. In the bottom row, there are 4 men, seated on the grass. Two of them are in military uniform, two in civilian clothes. The photo is out-of-focus. It is glued onto a rectangular mount made out of greyish card. On the reverse side of the card there is an inscription handwritten using a blue ball-point pen: “Employees of Camp Section No.3 of the Zone “Fizkul’turnik” (“The Athlete”), VII-1948. From right to left in the 3rd row (standing): 1 – [...], 2 – Turuntaeva, Zoia Val; 3 – Igunaev;
4 – Kritskii; 5 – Meleshch; 6 – Zachiniaev; 7 – Slobodchikov; 8 – Chernikov; 9 – Antipov; 10 – Prokop’eva; 11 – Krasin; 12 – Loktionov; 13 – Korobchenko; 14 – Rubanin”. In the bottom right-hand corner there is an inscritpion in blue ball-point pen, which reads: “f. 3959/4709”, clearly the museum inventory number.

Camp Section No.3 was located in Anzhero-Sudzhensk ( According to other data the “Fizkul’turnik” [“Athlete”] Zone was a women’s camp). The following are named on the photograph mount: Zoia Valentinovna Turuntaeva, Igunaev, Kritskii, Meleshch, Zachiniaev, Slobodchikov, Chernikov, Antipov, Prokop’eva, Krasin, Loktionov, Korobchenko, Rubanin.
