Length – 21.5cm Width – 13.5cm Height – 5.5cm

Plywood box with lid and four supporting legs. The lid moved freely on two loops through which run two pintels (one loop is lost). The box is fastened with a loop on the lid and a catch. The lid and three sides of the box are decorated with engravings. On the sides are images of many-petalled rosettes.Along the edges of the lid and sides is a repeated pattern of horseshoes, making a border. On the inside of the lid is engraved the wording: "На память Рите. Инта. 8/III 1950" [~"A keepsake for Rita. Inta, 8/III 1950"].

Given by Margarita Nikolaevna Glazova. According to the owner's testimony, the box was made by a prisoner at the request of her father, the imprisoned doctor N.A. Glazova, as a present for his daughter.
