"а" Cylindrical aluminium mug with slightly bent-back and so thickened rim and a vertical curved handle of flattened metal. On the mug's surface there are vertical impressions. It is closed with "б" – a flat aluminium lid. In the centre of the lid is a chiselled round wooden handle, attached with a screw.

Much used. Bent, the metal of "а" has darkened inside, the screw on "б" is covered in rust.

Given by V.E. Dolinin. According to the owner's testimony, the mug belonged to him during his imprisonment in the Perm camps in 1983-86. It was given to him in 1983 by V. Pozdeev, who in turn had received it in the 1970s from a prisoner freed after having served a 25 year sentence.The lid was made in the mid-1980s.
