Hand-drawn certificate to an "Udarnik- Member of the Polar expedition", David Samoilovich Galperin. Awarded by the Central Headquarters of Udarnichestvo and socialist emulation of the OGPU Vaigach Expedition on 01.07.1934. The certificate's text is written on a background of a map of the northern regions of the country and decorated with mechanical components and buildings in the Constructivist style. There is an impression of a stamp in the form of a star. The writing on the stamp is indecipherable.

Paper torn in several places, the right hand edge is curling.

Given by A.D. Galperina. According to the owner's testimony, the certificate was awarded to her father, D.S. Galperin, while imprisoned and working on the OGPU's Vaigach expedition.
