'Ksiva' in case

"а" – "Ksiva" – a note, containing information on events in camp VS 389/36 and copies of the prisoners' sentences. Written on cigarette paper in green ink; the handwriting is very small, only one side of the paper is used. Placed in specially made "б" – a test-tube shaped ebonite case, rounded at one end and hermetically sealed with "в" – a polythene stopper from a medicine bottle at the other.

Given by R.B. Evdokimov. According to his testimony, the 'ksiva' was written by him in the mid-1980s while imprisoned in the Perm camps (Perm-36), to be sent out of the camp. After that, he hid the ksiva and capsule on the territory of the Perm-36 zone, and found it during a Perm-36 political prisoners' meeting in 1992, and gave it to the museum.
